Whether you are managing a follow-up visit, discussing test results, or addressing a new concern that does not require an in-person exam, telehealth makes it easier than ever to stay connected to your care team without the added time and expense of travel.
How It Works
Healow TeleVisits™ are simple to join and require no complicated setup. When your appointment is scheduled, you will receive a link by text or email that connects you directly to your visit — no login required. You can also access your telehealth appointment through the Healow app or your OHHC Patient Portal. Your provider will conduct the video consultation and conclude the visit when complete, just as they would in the office.
Preparing for Your TeleVisit
A little preparation goes a long way toward making your telehealth appointment run smoothly. Before your visit, we recommend the following:
- Find a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable speaking openly with your provider
- Log in a few minutes early using the Healow app, your Patient Portal, or the link in your appointment reminder
- Complete any patient questionnaires or vital sign entries requested before the visit begins
- Check your internet speed and confirm your device’s camera and microphone are working properly
- Enter the virtual waiting room and your provider will join when ready
Patient Portal & the Healow App
The Healow™ Patient Portal is your secure online hub for managing your health at OHHC. In addition to joining TeleVisits, the portal gives you access to your medical records, upcoming appointments, test results, and more — all from your phone or computer, whenever it is convenient for you.
