OHHC Expanding Behavioral Health Services to Woodsfield
Posted 11/20/24Ohio Hills Health Centers is pleased to announce the expansion of behavioral health services to Woodsfield to better meet the needs of the community. Woodsfield, Ohio is a mental health professional shortage area according to the Health Resources and Services Administration and area residents will benefit from additional Behavioral Health Services becoming available.
Melissa Huff, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, will be at OHHC-Woodsfield, every Monday. Melissa’s earned her Master of Education in Community Mental Health at Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. She also sees patients at OHHC-Barnesville.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to help area individuals, couples, and families,” said Huff. “Life can be full of challenges. At times anyone can experience depression, anxiety or grief. I am here to provide them the support, guidance and insight to get through stressful situations.”
Behavioral Health Services are available to all community members, and you do not need a referral from a provider. OHHC also offers a Patient Discount Program and a Financial Counselor for those who require financial assistance.
“Behavioral Health is an important component of the services we offer,” said Jeff Britton, CEO, OHHC. “OHHC offers primary health care, dental care and behavioral health care. Our goal at OHHC is to treat the entire person and to provide the services they need. We are pleased to be able to expand Behavioral Health care to all residents in Monroe County.”
